Badam Laddu

Badam Pappu Laddu
Ingredients:
Almonds 1 1/2 cup
Besan 1/2 cup
Green Cardamom Powder 1 tsp
Pure Ghee 1 cup
Sugar 1 – 2 cups
Method of preparation:
Grind almonds into somewhat fine powder.
Heat ghee in a non stick pan, add besan, cardamom powder and fry until aromatic or until besan turns golden brown.
Once besan is fried, remove from heat.
Cool the besan to warm temperature, add almonds powder and mix thoroughly.
Finally add sugar and mix well before the mixture cools down completely.
Take small amounts of above mixture and make small laddus using both hands.
Badam laddu can be stored for weeks.
Notes: Garnish almond laddu with sliced almonds if you wish.
